This is halloween this is halloween, halloween halloween

Halloween 07 has come and gone. With it came some amazing costume ideas like

nacho libre:

miss argentina

Nick and Kaitlin were lucille and buster(god I love that hook, props are extra points)

Then there's that favorite costume of people you don't know but want to because of such an awesome costume idea. For me it was capn' crunch

Moving farther back into the weekend we come to friday. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us play. It was a blast. Kudos to Rudy who brought down the house with the mash(watch me for the changes and try to keep up was the second bff line of the night, mine was you might not like this but your kids are gonna love it. The youtube video is on its way.

Thanks to Yishai taking picures for us. His pics have a way of slowing everything down a bit, especially that one of gary and kelly from behind(two robots). Also that one with the bird with the goldfish in its mouth.

I went to Rudy's show and caught the dirty old grampa sketch he wrote. You can see it at Rudy's website He's got shows to come so now we don't have to rely on him sometimes telling us he has a show.

As for movies and music I just saw american graffiti(where get your cooties off of me from BFF comes from, I'm really going back to the future with this post) and have been listening to radiohead in rainbows continuosly. Its nothing genre breaking but its definitely worth listening to. I also saw ween live which was both fun and agravating. Ween put on great show only by the time the line got us in the door they were half way through there set. They started at 8pm and doors opened at 8pm, pretty stupid.

This time of year always brings with it marked out calendars with weekend filled activities. This is both good and bad. Kind of mindnumbing at the intense pace weeks go by and slightly satisfying as routine kicks in. I hope that made sense, probably just to me.

shameless self-promotion, like that car commercial you sit through before you watch a video on the internet

Darling is playing this friday as the misfits for a halloween party/art show at the sub-t. LMNOP kicks the show off at 7pm and we go on at 8pm. Here's the poster for the show:

In addition Rudy Voit will be singing the monster mash with us and everyone is invited to come on stage to sing the chorus(he did the mash) as well as do the monster mash dance(which Rudy will explain). As an added memento, Yishai will be taking a panoramic picture of everyone on stage dancing and singing.

Whooo. So its almost November and I've been feeling it in the cold winds(wopping 48 degrees). It was just 2 weeks ago that we were in hot florida. The ceremony was perfect(guy that married kit and nat was a minister, a buddhist monk, and a native american shaman: a triple threat and even looked like the architect from matrix) and you couldn't have asked for better weather. Here's the lineup, notice how eddie and I are posing for this shot, meanwhile nick is all about respect.

And a pic of the happy bride and groom

Can't finish a photoshoot without the crazy picture. This is how I get ready to jump , really. Since my camera is ancient(2000-digital cameras are similar to block cellphones from the 80's) it wasn't able to capture people in the air.

Finally thanks kit and nats family for treating us to such an awesome weekend. And especially for this 26 person SUV limo with the party's crashing us now cranked at max volume.

Pumpkin carving time has arrived and I may have peeked out this year. Points for if you can guess who I carved on my pumkin. Its obviously the one on the right with a slight bit less meticulous attention to detail.

two yolks in one egg, thats when I woke up and remembered the bachelor party

On Sunday I cracked an egg to make a standard 2-egg scrambie/english muffin sandwhich. Only when I cracked the second egg, two yolks came out. So I had a 3-egg scrambie/engish muffin sandwhich. Those crazy cage-free egg people must be relaxing these chickens into evolution.

Darling will be playing soon at the Empty bottle. First time in two years so we're pretty excited:

Fall is here, only its 89 degrees. Life is moving a bit quicker and more productive lately. I threw Kit a bachelor party a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success.

It all started with Banana pancakes and various breakfast items. Jason and Nick really got into making bacon:

After breakfast and many shots of whiskey, we made for frisbee golf in hammond Indiana:

Then it was on to the booze toury conveniently located only 5 min from the course. Kit's pointing to the office of the founder of 3 floyds brewery:

Yishai's the only one posing here. The grain in his hand tasted like grapenuts. I immediately had my front shirt pocket filled

Here's a pic of the whole group:

After the tour we had some dinner at the brew pub and each bought a growler to contribute to the nights festivities

Here's nick and the alpha king on our way out

After this pic we drove back to chicago and I relinquished my role as designated driver which also coincided perfectly with my total drop off in picture taking. The rest of the night was a blast. Kit, congrats on marrying Natalie, you guys are great and I wish you guys all the best.
